Chepauk Stadium, officially known as M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, is one of India’s oldest and most iconic cricket venues, located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Established in 1916, it has a seating capacity of around 50,000 and serves as the home ground for the Tamil Nadu Cricket Team and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL. The stadium has hosted numerous memorable matches, including its first Test in 1934 and the famous tied Test between India and Australia in 1986.
